
The Jireh Project
The Jireh Project was established in response to the impact of Hurricane Helene in the fall of 2024 and has since evolved to provide financial assistance for unforeseen emergencies, including job loss, natural disasters, and severe household infrastructure challenges. The initiative is committed to alleviating immediate financial burdens, facilitating recovery efforts, and fostering long-term stability, guided by the principle of compassionate provision reflected in its name, derived from the Hebrew "Yireh."
Requirements
You may be eligible if you were impacted by Hurricane Helene in one of these ways:

Loss or damage to housing/personal property

Job loss

Delay in payment of rent and essential services (electricity, water, etc.)
Lives in the following counties: Burke, McDowell, Buncombe and Mitchell.
