Job Summary
The Healthy Minds Coordinator supports community mental health initiatives through
program coordination, client support, administrative management, and community
engagement. This role requires strong communication skills, cultural sensitivity, and
the ability to manage multiple wellness‐focused programs simultaneously
Responsibilities
Administrative & Client Coordination
• Manage daily communication, including responding to emails and registering all
incoming calls.
• Maintain accurate paper and digital records.
• Schedule and confirm appointments through the Sanarai platform and ensure all
callers requesting services are contacted.
• Conduct follow‐ups with individuals who have used Sanarai services.
• Provide office coverage during food pantry distributions.
Mental Health Forums & Education
• Plan and prepare mental health forums, including topic research and Canva
presentations.
• Conduct outreach to previous and new attendees.
• Maintain an annual calendar of forum dates and themes.
• Serve as a QPR Instructor for internal and external events, ensuring materials
are prepared and monthly reports are submitted.
Tribu de Mujeres Coordination
• Organize all Tribu de Mujeres meetings, including snacks, materials, and
monthly activity planning.
• Maintain active communication through group chats and motivational messages.
• Conduct individual check‐ins with members to support engagement and
wellbeing.
Community, Donor & Client Support
• Act as a liaison between donors and recipients.
• Connect clients with appropriate resources and referrals.
• Support community engagement efforts and participate in weekend events as
assigned.
• Collaborate with the Tutoring Instructor to prepare weekly wellbeing activities for
students.
Sanarai Program Management
• Review and reconcile Sanarai’s monthly report with internal records to ensure
accuracy of appointments and invoices.
• Communicate with Sanarai leadership regarding system issues or program
updates.
• Conduct outreach to new clients and maintain updated biographies of
psychologists.
• Match clients with psychologists based on availability, cultural background, and
needs.
• Refer underage clients to partner organizations when appropriate.
Events & Special Initiatives
• Coordinate and support organizational events, including planning, outreach, and
onsite participation.
• Lead the planning and coordination of Fiesta de Locos as part of the events
portfolio, including invitations and gathering participant testimonials.
Job Requirements:
-
Bilingual in English and Spanish (required), with strong verbal and written
communication skills in both languages.
• Experience in program coordination, community work, social services, or a
related field (preferred).
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks while
maintaining accurate records.
• Cultural competence and the ability to work respectfully with diverse
communities.
• Comfortable facilitating groups, giving presentations, and conducting
community outreach.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets (preferred).
• Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
• Ability to work occasional evenings or weekends for events.
• Ability to lift 20–30 lbs for event setup.
• Proactive, empathetic, and community‐oriented attitude.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
