The Sponsorship program allows us to assist ambitious students continue their education. There are students in the county who not only do not qualify for federal financial aid, but have to pay out of state tuition even though they live in the state. We help our community by allowing them the opportunity to meet their academic goals. 

Paying for college is one of the big concerns especially for a young student. Even more so when that student is not receiving financial aid outside of scholarships or out of pocket payments. The sponsorship program not only helps in getting people's foot in the door of continuing their education but also helps in searching for:

  • Scholarships

  • Internships

  • Career Opportunities

  • Educational Programs

  • Workshops pertaining to their career 0f choice.

McDowell Technical Community College is our local community college where opportunities are abundant for students wanting continue education. Their Student Services have scholarship opportunities and it is a good way to be a full time student as you work so that there is some flexibility.
