Communication is key in a lot of areas of business, education, and life in general but what happens when that gets taken away from people?

People who cannot express their needs will feel out of place and like they are not being heard. Language Justice is an practice we promote at CULA meaning that we believe that everyone should be able to express their concerns and needs in the language they feel comfortable communicating in.

Even though we abide by this ideology, we also believe strongly in self advocacy and being able to build new skills for one's self development. For this reason, we decided to provide English as a Second Language to the community to learn how to read, write and speak in English.

By learning another language, the community can thrive in the workplace, schools, and society in general.
