About
Rosalinda Arriola, the program coordinator, leads an initiative dedicated to promoting mental health and well-being within the community. Mental health is a state of well-being where individuals can develop their abilities, cope with life’s normal stresses, work productively, and contribute to their community. This program focuses on developing and implementing mental health programs and initiatives. It raises awareness through educational workshops on various topics, including YMHFA, TMHFA, QPR, and more. Additionally, we offer therapy sessions with 52 Sanarai psychologists via video calls, providing a personalized approach with professionals who understand the language and culture of our community, all in a safe and confidential space.

Mission
To serve as a vital resource for members of our community by providing educational forums, mental health training, and facilitating therapy through the Sanarai program, helping them achieve optimal mental health.
Vision
To provide workshops, seminars, and educational forums on mental health so that community members can understand their own emotions and those of others, achieve excellent mental health, and create a positive impact on our community and the world.

Services
Elevating the quality of life within our community for a stronger, healthier future.

Community Health Worker
The Community Health Worker Program was created to provide free assistance and resources to individuals impacted by COVID-19. Over time, it has expanded to address the community's broader health needs. The program offers connections to vital resources such as food and housing, chronic disease prevention education, access to healthcare services, and personalized health coaching to support overall well-being.

Healthy Minds of Centro Unido
Healthy Minds of Centro Unido was established to raise awareness about mental health in North Carolina. Our mission is to educate the community about mental health issues and their impact while working to eliminate the stigma surrounding mental health. By fostering open conversations, we aim to empower our community to support one another and seek help when needed.
We achieve this through trainings, forums, and workshops facilitated by certified QPR Suicide Prevention and Mental Health First Aid staff.
In partnership with Sanarai, we offer free therapy sessions with licensed professionals who understand the language and culture of our community. These confidential virtual sessions are tailored to meet individual needs, providing a safe space for mental health support.
Please note: We are NOT certified to provide mental health diagnoses or treatment.
